DIVEMASTER

The Divemaster course is the final step you need to take in order to enter de professional world of recreational diving. On this course you’ll be able to work in a team with an instructor, perfecting your diving skills and gaining the insight necessary for a leadership role. Having passed this course, as well as attend diving courses, you will be able to guide and organize dives in any dive centre or resort. For this reason, it is important that aspirants to this qualification are exemplary professionals at all times since the Divemaster is one of the most important figures in diving centres or resorts.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18
- Participants must have passed the Rescue Diver course (or similar)
- EFR certificate (in the last two years)
- 40 logged dives to commence training for Divemaster
- 60 logged dives to be eligible to sit the Divemaster exam
- Recommended that participants already passed deep diver and search and recovery diver
- Up-to-date doctor’s certificate
- Two passport-sized photographs
